Dave Coulier, Joey on Full House also appeared on the Show, perhaps that's why he mocked Scooby from time to time on Full House.

About Scoob:
Scooby was desinged and drawn by Iwao Takamoto. He was modeled to be the opposite of a prized show dog owned by anothe Hanna-Barbera employee.

Shaggy's name is really Norville.
Scooby's name is Scoobert.

The show was once called, Mysteries Five, and later as Who's Scared? but neither of those names flew with the man in the big office.

Scooby-Doo first aired on CBS in September, 1969, as Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?

In 1976, it was moved to ABC, and called The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour, with Scooby-Dum and Scooby-Dee.

The show was themed after two shows, I love a Mystery (1940's) and The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis (1959-1963).

Scooby is currenty owned by Cartoon Network, under Time Warner Inc. The rights were bought for
$300 million along with all of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon library.
